I am very excited to have recently joined the Department of Technology at SFUSD! For the last 5 years, I have partnered with an educational architect to design Next Generation learning environments focused on building holistic spaces for students and teachers. My role focused on aligning the learning goals and initiatives of the school district to the classroom environment and technology.
My most recent school role was as Director of Teaching and Learning at a small Jewish day school in the East Bay. In collaboration with the administrative team and teachers, I led the design of a new curriculum program to transform the current learning program towards 21st Century learning and experiences called Bridge to the Future. I also collaborated with teachers and IT for the 1:1 Chromebook rollout for the Middle School and designed and delivered the professional development annual plan to integrate Google Suite and technology into the classrooms.
I am a Google Certified Educator and have completed my MA.ED in Instructional Technology from SF State and also received my K-8 Multi Subject Teaching credential there as well focused on Title 1 school education. I have taught 1st,4/5 Combo,7th, & 8th grade at SFUSD. I was a technology reading specialist for the Diocese of Oakland, teaching K-8th grade in multiple East Bay schools and I also taught 3rd grade at Tehiyah Day School.
